| About Ofurobath: Bathtub: We have recently covered the bath tub to put things on it in the apartment of 301 therefore if you like to use a bath tub, pleasse, stay in our other flat or house. I have realized that foreigners don't take bath often but use shower most of the time while Japanese people like me take hot tub bath two times in a day, sometimes additional one more time middle of the day. We Japanese care a bath "ofuro" very much however foreigners use a shower for practical reason, for washing body. Public Bathhouse: Japanese often visit a public bath house although having own bath at home just to enjoy a big size of hot tub sharing with other people, chatting in naked, it is a traditional style of communication and those information from the elderly customers of the public bath house are often very useful therfore we go to the bath house not only to wash but for the cultural reason. Probably it will be hard to understand for foreigners who don't feel comfortable to be naked in front of other people you don't know. To know Japanese culture it is worth to visit a public bath house just to have an experience. If you like to visit one in this area, see this list: Man and woman are divided. Enjoy your bath life in Japan! p.s. By the way, I have visited a couple of natural hot spring thermal bath onsen in Europe and have given lecture about German onsen in a local government organization in Tokyo.
