One day my neighbor has introduced me this
secret place. It is located in the middle of the
residential area where normally people don't go
especially foreigners.
It doesn't face to any big street but hidden deep
inside among the numerous of houses.
I was surprised to see the meal.
Wow, what a quality and quantity!
I couldn't finish all.
After the meal a cup of coffee, hot or ice, is served.
The whole set costs only 650 yen! |

What can you eat for 5 Euro in Europe?
A piece of sandwitch?
I was becoming immediately a fan of this
secret restaurant.
It has only three table, four chair for each one,
totally 12 customers can sit.
You must sit in front of other customer.
Don't expect any privacy.
They open only from 11:40 to 1:00 for lunch.
If you are late, you don't have fish any more.
They don't have many variety but they only
have today's fish set or curry.
This is all what they have. |
Their cooking is real traditional family food what my grandmother used
to cook.
It's so nostalgic to have this type of food.
I took 2 French, 3 German and 1 Swedish one by one.
All love this place except one who can't eat
fish, miso soup and sea weed.
The menu is changing according to the fish
market situation.
I'm sure they don't make a big profit but they
give us their maximum service.
I don't say their place is beautiful or fashionable
but very family atmosphere. |

I don't think they put ad for this place
however locals know it very well.
I see every time almost same people
here.
A chabby businessman with fox eyes,
an old man with glasses, a bright tall
man (my neighbor), etc.
Since I went there I try to eat almost
everyday having something.
To eat there I make my plan always after2:00
so that I can come here.
You can eat rice as much as you like,
however you feel saticefied even with
only one bowl of rice. |
I used to have a nice lunch in French restaurants in Kagurazaka however
I don't go
there any more since I eat in this restaurant
near my place.
I'm wondering how come I didn't know it
although I have been living in this area since
nearly five years.
This is because people usually take only big
street not a smallest residential pass.
Im sure other people spend much more but
eat less quality.
I like to introduce this place to our tenants
so that it won't have bankrupcy. |
